Subgenres and Crossovers - and writing buddies - complicated

There may not be an easy way to solve this but I'll throw the question out. First of all, even though I've done NaNo before and had writing buddies, I haven't really done much with them. This year I'd like to try and do more communicating and that's just something I will have to try myself. I met some of my buddies in forum threads in both my crossover genre categories (Science Fiction and Religious/Spiritual), and in the forum for Writing Groups, where I found a Catholic Writers thread (that's the religion/spirituality informing my novel). What I'd like to be able to do is create a thread or a "room" or whatever for my Catholic Religious Science Fiction writing buddies to get together. As I'm sure other genre-blenders like myself may be thinking of doing and scratching their heads too. Suggestions?
